I was wondering about what the mood was in the Pacquiao locker room, and later among team Pacquiao, in the aftermath of experiencing the boos of the crowd at the end of his trilogy bout with Juan Manuel Marquez fight all but drowned out Pacquiao’s post fight interview with Max Kellerman.  Fair or not, they had to hurt on a number of levels — just as the frustration at not being able to decisively beat Marquez must have weighed heavily on Pacquiao’s spirit.  The article describes Manny having the cut above his eye (the result of an accidental butt) sutured; discussing religious matters; canceling the post fight concert, and generally acting like a man who had  lot on his mind.

LAS VEGAS — Shortly after his latest fight, Manny Pacquiao lay flat on his back on a wooden table in Locker Room No. 2 at the MGM Grand. Tissue paper covered all of his face except for his right eye. He gripped the arm of his wife, Jinkee, with his right hand, squeezing tight.

Above the eye, a gash extended about an inch and a half diagonally through his eyebrow, the result of what looked like an accidental head butt in the 10th round of his third fight against Juan Manuel Marquez.
