Could it be that the fight that everyone wants to see is actually going to happen? After sounding less than certain about it a few days ago, Manny Pacquiao now sounds more confident that the fight will be made, saying there are only a few “little things” to sort out before he signs and the deal is done. “We are ready,” Pacquiao told abs-cbnnews.com. “If it pushes through, once he signs the contract then I’ll sign the contract. Only the little things are being worked out and negotiations are almost done.”

Previous efforts broke down over drug testing issues, but both Pacquiao and his promoter Bob Arum have signified that this is no longer an issue. Whether that means they have accepted Mayweather’s complete demands, or have simply put forward a credible alternative, remains to be seen. Previously Arum and the Pacquiao camp had indicated that they were not in agreement with Mayweather over the agency that would do the testing.

Meanwhile, Vegas oddsmakers already have him at -140(you need to put in $160 to win a hundred bucks), and Pacquiao at +110, which translate to $110 for every $100 bet.
